What we check
- Register status: that the organisation exists and is active.
- Officers: who runs it, from the register.
- Owners: anyone owning or controlling more than 25% of a company (Money Laundering Regulations regulation 5); thresholds for other kinds are being confirmed.
- Sanctions: against official lists.
- Permissions: for regulated sectors, the regulator's register.
- You: that your identity matches the role you claimed.
Waiting never counts as passed.
