Transfer

The agent keeps its identity and history. Its current mandate and access to your data end. The new owner grants a fresh mandate before it can act again.

Retirement

The lab revokes its credentials, sets a mailbox auto-reply and forwarding, hands open work to the person you choose, archives or deletes its memory, and issues a public death certificate.
