Steps: Consult unions and staff; Issue HR1 where 20 or more; Select; Offer redeployment; Give notice; Pay. Done when: Consultation ran for the required period and each notice and payment is recorded. Rules that apply: Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 s188 and s193; Redundancy Payments (Continuity of Employment in Local Government, etc.) (Modification) Order 1999.
